CANG means warehouse. Not boutique. Not showroom. Warehouse — the place before the place, where things are kept before they go somewhere. That's where we work.
We're a small label sourcing direct from Guangzhou's garment districts, taking pieces that most Western labels never see and putting them in front of people who know what they're looking at.
The factories and markets of South China produce some of the best garments in the world. Most of it stays there, or gets stripped of anything interesting before it's exported. We go to the source — the same streets, the same suppliers — and hand-pick what actually deserves to travel.
Every piece in the collection is selected for how it's been treated, not just how it was made.
Nothing in the collection is new in the conventional sense. Every garment is garment-dyed, washed, distressed, or aged before it ships. The fading is intentional. The cracking is intentional. The worn-in feeling from day one — that's the whole point.
No two pieces come out identical. That's not a flaw.
